Q: When are nominations due?

A: Nominations for the 2024 40 Under 40 program are due March 22, 2024. Nominees must then submit their Candidate Information Form by March 29, 2024, to be considered for the program. 

 

Q: What is the Candidate Information Form?

A: The Candidate Information Form is the second step of the nomination process for the 40 Under 40 program. This form must be filled out and submitted by the nominee by March 29, 2024. 

 

Q: How does the nominee access the Candidate Information Form?

A: Once someone has been nominated, they will receive an email letting them know they have been nominated, and a link to the Candidate Information Form. 

 

Q: Who can apply to this program?

A: Anyone who is currently working at a new-car dealership in the United States, and is under the age of 40 (as of July 8, 2024), is eligible for the program. Previous honorees of the 40 Under 40 program are not eligible to be nominated again. 

 

Q: Can I nominate myself?

A: Yes! Self nominations are welcomed and encouraged. 

 

Q: How many times can I nominate someone?

A: We ask that each nominee is nominated once. Multiple nominations of the same person will not increase their chance of being selected. 

 

Q: When are the honorees announced?

A: The 2024 list of 40 Under 40 honorees will be announced on July 8, 2024, in an Automotive News special section.
